Nick Jonas surprises his wife Priyanka Chopra with an unusual Christmas gift: a snowmobile.
“Nothing better than to see her smile,” Jonas wrote along with another publication in which a couple of images of Chopra with her brand new gift are attached. Chopra also shared some videos of her riding the snowmobile and reaching out to her husband to the beat of, “Honey, this is amazing.”
Chopra’s fondness for snow likely dates back to her childhood when her father’s military service forced her to live in parts of her native India like Leh, in the troubled Jammu and Kashmir region that straddles the Himalayas. The actress has always said that she has fond memories of the months she lived there.
“I was in Leh for a year, and my memories of that place are tremendous,” Chopra recalled a few years ago on Mid Day. “We were all children with military parents. We did not live in houses. We were in bunkers in the valley, and there was a stupa on top of a hill from which you could see our valley. We used to run to the top of the stupa.”
Jonas and Chopra tied the knot in 2018 after sparking dating rumours in May of the previous year during the MET Gala, in which they posed together for photographers. Despite their efforts to deny that they were together, the couple got engaged in the summer of 2018 and are now counted as one of the most mediatic millennial marriages on the global celebrity scene.
